symptom checker

For all you budding hypochondriacs out there, I have just found a website that attempts to diagnose your ailments.  For some reason it makes me feel a little better than simply using Google, though I imagine bubonic plague, cancer and smallpox will probably appear as diagnoses…  So, of course, consult a ‘real doctor’ before accepting the web-generated diagnosis.

What I like about Symcat is that you can see in real time what people all around the world are searching for.  For some reason today everyone has an aching nose and ears.  And it is also rather fun plugging in random symptoms and seeing what you come up with!

Symcat.
